Western Canada Spring Roadshow Continues

So, it has been over two months without a post. Wonder why? Well, look at my post from April 15th. I've been on the road, touring most of Western Canada and training a wide range of developers on Microsoft tools and technologies.

Currently I'm finishing my last two weeks on the road, both will be spent teaching SQL Server related courses in Saskatoon.

This road trip has been long and difficult. However, meeting all of the new people, and have great classes has made the trip very interesting.

I'm planning on taking two weeks off when all this training is completed. I'll be taking the last week of June and the first week of July as holidays, and let me tell you it is a much needed break. I'm starting to get road weary and sometimes forget what city I'm in, and forget about the date, I only started to realise that it is now the middle of June. I was typing in class last week and used May and the students were like, Hello, it's June now!!

Anyway, that's all for today. I've got some really cool stuff that I want to post, but I will leave that for my more regular posts.

Until then,

Western Canada Spring Roadshow

Well, it has finally happened. The training industry has once again started to kick into gear, and like always, everything happens at once.

Microsoft Security Seminar

In early April I received a number of calls from training centers in Western Canada looking for a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) to deliver a free security course offering from Microsoft for developers. Combined with regular bookings, this has led to the 2004 Western Canada Spring Roadshow!

These are the currently booked dates, subject to change based on enrollment, etc. etc. etc.

Monday, April 19 - Friday, April 23, 2004 - Regina
Monday, May 3 - Friday, May 7, 2004 - Regina
Monday, May 17 - Friday, May 21, 2004 - Regina
Thursday, May 27 - Friday, May 28, 2004 - Regina
Monday, May 31 - Friday, June 4, 2004 - Calgary
Monday, June 7 - Friday, June 11, 2004 - Vancouver

So, it might end up being summer before I blink!! Ah, the life of a travelling MCT!! As more dates are confirmed, or hopefully cancelled, I'll post updates to my schedule.

Revamped Resume Blog transforms into the Professional Web Log

Well, after months of no posting, and little work on the resume blog template, I finally had a chance today to revamp the template.

In about 5.5 hours I have revamped the template from the ground up. I was able to clean up a good portion of the CSS and template layout. I've also managed to change the content DIVs into more static content and leave the blogger tags for my Latest News updates.

Have a look around, I plan on keeping this site up to date and populate all relatevant data. I also want to finish this before the end of February and start giving out the URL to my students in class.

Check out contact info if you need to get ahold of me, or if you have a job opportunity for me.

Thanks very much,

LA Bryant

Testing of new resume blog format continues

Welcome to my Resume Blog. Developed by Lyle A Bryant in August of 2003. I'm still in the process of figuring out the template layout and how well this will work.
